You can permanently delete your WiamApp account and all personal data associated with it. This page exists so users (and Google Play reviewers) can find the deletion process without needing to install or sign in to the app.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, email, avatar, bio, country, phone number).
• Your reading history, library, reading lists, bookmarks, streaks, and badges.
• Comments, ratings, follows, and gifts you sent or received.
• Notification subscriptions and push tokens.
• Wallet balance, coin transactions, premium subscription state, and referral data.
• Any draft stories, chapters, or creator earnings tied to your account.
• Authentication records, session tokens, and device fingerprints.

What we may retain (and why)

Some data must be retained for a limited window for legal, anti-fraud, or financial-reconciliation reasons:

• Payment records — for up to 7 years to satisfy tax, accounting, and chargeback-investigation requirements. These are stripped of personally identifying fields (name, email) at deletion time and reduced to anonymous transaction IDs.
• Anti-abuse signals — for up to 90 days (hashed device fingerprint, IP) to prevent banned accounts from re-registering immediately.
• Aggregate analytics — already anonymous, retained indefinitely.

How to delete

Option 1 — From inside the WiamApp Android / iOS app

1. Open WiamApp and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account safety → Delete account.
3. Confirm by entering your password.
4. Your account is deleted immediately. You will be signed out automatically.

Option 2 — From the WiamApp website

1. Visit https://wiamapp.com/account/delete
2. Sign in with the account you want to delete.
3. Confirm by entering your password.
4. The page completes the deletion and signs you out.

Option 3 — Email request (for users locked out of their account)

If you can no longer access your account (lost password, lost email, device unavailable), email us from any address with the subject line "Delete my WiamApp account" and include enough information for us to identify the account:

• The email address you used to register, OR
• Your WiamApp username / profile URL, OR
• The Google account or phone number associated with the account.

We confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days of identity verification.
