1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WiamApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One person may not maintain more than one account without prior approval.
• WiamApp reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. User Content

• Creators retain ownership of their original stories and content.
• By publishing on WiamApp, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform.
• Content must not contain plagiarism, hate speech, explicit illegal content, or violate any copyright laws.
• WiamApp reserves the right to remove content that violates our guidelines.

4. Wiam Coins & Payments

• Wiam Coins are a virtual currency used within the platform for tipping creators and unlocking premium chapters.
• Coin purchases are processed through Paystack and are non-refundable except as required by law.
• Creators earn coins through reader tips and premium chapter unlocks. Payouts are processed monthly.
• WiamApp retains a platform commission on creator earnings as outlined in the Creator Agreement.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the platform's operation
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission
• Create fake accounts or manipulate engagement metrics

6. WiamElite

WiamElite is an algorithmic hall of fame. Promotion and demotion are based entirely on story performance metrics. WiamApp does not guarantee Elite status for any story.

7. Intellectual Property

The WiamApp name, logo, design, and all platform features are the intellectual property of WiamLabs. You may not use our branding without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

WiamApp is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of WiamApp after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
